As Resurrection Sunday fast approaches, one commentator from the new History Channel series “Jesus:His Life” is reflecting on how relational Jesus Christ was when he walked the earth
Rev. Shively Smith, a commentator in the series who also serves as an assistant professor of New Testament at Boston University School of Theology, told Ambo TV that she was inspired by how Jesus related to people.
“I am really inspired by the way in which the (series) invites us to think about what it means to expand our relational networks and circles, what it means to listen to a variety of voices and to recognize the way in which those different relationships play into our purposes,” Smith told Ambo TV. “…You see that occurring with these eight figures that we end up talking about in relationship with Jesus.”
