“But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” – Matthew 6:3-4
When we help someone, at times you may be tempted to share this with others. But this text encourages us to avoid this temptation and to keep the good that we do for others between yourself and God. As a result, the Lord will bless us because of it.
