“And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.” –Ephesians 4:32
After someone has betrayed us, it is common for bitterness to arise in our hearts, sometimes leading us to abandon that person. But do we ever ask ourselves where would we be if the Lord treated us the same after we fall short? Do we ever put this into consideration? Just as God looks beyond our faults, we have a responsibility to do the same. As you pray, ask the Lord to help you forgive.
