“The herdsmen fled to the nearby town, telling everyone what happened to the demon-possessed men. Then the entire town came out to meet Jesus, but they begged him to go away and leave them alone.” Matthew 8:33-34
In this text, after Jesus casts demons into pigs the local people asked him to leave because they were upset and afraid. Sometimes, in your home, school, or in your work environment people may ostracize you because of the power you carry. But don’t be discouraged; this text serves as a reminder that people won’t always have the ability to handle the wisdom, knowledge and strength you carry.
