As we near Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday, let’s not forget that those events happened because the religious leaders allowed fear to turn them into agents of evil. While we celebrate the sacrifice of Jesus this week, don’t overlook the warning implicated by the acts of the religious leaders. Don’t allow anything, whether fear, greed or a desire to be liked, turn you from a follower of God to an agent for evil.
