This YouTuber Is Reminding Us About The Power Of Testomonies

Kytia L'Amour

Christian YouTyber Kytia L’Amour is reminding people how important it is to share their testimonies.

The actress, singer, model and dancer who has performed with Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Drake and Chris Brown often explores topics of faith on her channel that has over 60,000 subscribers. This week, she took to social media to share an interesting perspective about the many miracles that Jesus did.

While many people focus on the miracles that Jesus did in the gospels, L’Amour pointed out the instructions that many people were given to share their testimonies.

“One of the things I love about reading the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John is not only the detailed accounts of the many people Jesus healed, but also His reminder to them to go and tell others what He had done for them,” she wrote on Instagram. “The power of their testimony astounded crowds because of their miraculous transformation.”

L’Amour explained the importance of sharing testimonies.

“It was important that Jesus came to do great works, but it was also important that the knowledge of His great works spread like wildfire,” she wrote. “Our testimony in Christ is one of the most powerful tools we have as believers because having a real relationship with Jesus is transforming.”

According to L’Amour, people’s purpose is linked to the sharing of their testimony.

“I’ve heard a few times recently that our purpose and calling in life is simply to accept Jesus into our hearts and believe that He is who the Bible says He is,” she wrote. “That’s the first step, but it’s clear that repentance comes next, followed by sharing the gospel (good news). Our purpose in life is ultimately to testify and give a reason for why we believe what we do so that others might come to know Jesus as well.”

She ended her message by posting the scripture Ephesians 2:10 which states, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
