Fans may not have to wait much longer for the next season of “Sunday Best.” BET Network announced that the audition process for season 10 will start next Saturday, February 15, in Atlanta, Ga.

America’s most inspirational singing competition will again be hosted by gospel music legend and multi-Grammy award-winning artist Kirk Franklin. Returning for the second consecutive year as judges are gospel singer and host of “Get Up Mornings,” Erica Campbell, soulful singer Kelly Price and Jonathan McReynolds.

The House of Hope in Atlanta will host the open call auditions, with registration beginning at 6 am and closing at 11 am. Aspiring contestants must be at least 18 years old and submit their audition online at BET.com/SundayBest. There they will also find additional audition information. The final day for online submissions is February 10, 2020, at 5:00 pm EST.

During the auditions, the hopefuls must be prepared to sing from a list of sixteen songs, that include gospel classics like Amazing Grace, His Eye Is on the Sparrow, Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus, and Pass Me Not, O Gentle Savior. ‘Sunday Best,’ the nation’s top gospel competition, has launched the career of singers like LeAndria Johnson, Amber Bullock, and Tasha Page-Lockhart. Melvin Crispell III won last season and has already appeared on impressive stages like the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration in Miami.

Last season also saw a little remixing of the show’s format after taking a four-year hiatus. The weekly guest performers like Gospel legend Shirley Caesar, season three winner Le’Andria Johnson, R&B songstress Fantasia, and soul singer Anthony Hamilton, also served as special judges for each episode, providing feedback to the competitors.
