Bishop T.D. Jakes Is Prepping Show To Help People Making Bad Decisions

Bishop T.D. Jakes is developing a new docu-series that he hopes will help people who have made bad choices and want to be forgiven.

On Monday July 16, the syndicated gospel music radio show  Get Up! Mornings With Erica Campbell  announced the news about Jakes’ latest venture. A flier for the docu-series was posted on the MAC Worldwide casting website and described the show with the title, “T.D. Jakes to offer a lifeline to those in need of spiritual breakthroughs.”

Jakes is searching for people who have hurt loved ones with bad decisions, are overcoming a life-changing injury, want to leave a gang or cult, have stolen from friends or business associates and are struggling with gambling, sex or shopping addictions. He is also allowing people to nominate others to take part in the series that will help people with spiritual transformations over the course of 40 days.

“Over the course of 40 days, participants in need of spiritual transformation will receive Jakes’ signature brand of straight talk with a a personal touch to provide help and hope to rebuild a new future,” a description of the series on the casting website reads.

Jakes, the senior pastor of the Potter’s House church in Dallas, Texas, previously hosted the syndicated talk show “T.D. Jakes” talk show which was filmed in Los Angeles, California. The show that premiered in 2016 and ended last year aired in over 50 U.S. markets.

“I’m grateful for this exciting opportunity to bring meaningful, thought provoking content to audiences across the country,” he previously said in a statement.

Aside from his sermons Jakes also offers words of encouragement through his website, https://www.tdjakes.com/. On his personal website, Jakes shares inspirational video posts on topics like “Your Greatest Wealth Is Within You.”
