Several special guests made appearances there including event founder Melanie Few, City of Miami Gardens Mayor Oliver Gilbert, Senior Vice President of Player Engagement for the NFL Arthur McAfee and Sheri Barros of the American Cancer Society.

Barros’ presence at the press conference highlighted the American Cancer Society’s collaboration with the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration and BET Networks. The cancer research organization will be featured in an impact moment during the broadcast to share the critical importance of their mission while giving viewers a chance to donate. During the show viewers will be encouraged to donate by texting HOPE to 20222, or by clicking here to donate online anytime.
