“You have given me greater joy than those who have abundant harvests of grain and new wine.” Psalms 4:7

People often look to things or worldly success to find joy. Those things aren’t inherently bad, and can be a way that God has blessed you, but they must not be the source of your joy. The Psalmist reminds us that God is the giver of great joy and it is a joy that exceeds the joy that comes from having many things. Today, reflect upon the intangible things God has given you like health, love and His son Jesus and find joy in them.
