“Don’t sin by letting anger control you. Think about it overnight and remain silent.” Psalm 4:4

Anger in and of itself is not sinful, but it becomes sin when we let it control us.  When anger becomes our driving emotion, then we are at risk for greater problems. The Bible warns us on more than one occasion the need to control this powerful emotion. Today, if you find yourself getting angry, it’s ok to acknowledge the emotion, but once you have done that, let it go. Control it before it controls you.
