“O Lord, you will hear the desire of the meek; you will strengthen their heart, you will incline your ear, to do justice for the orphan and the oppressed, so that those from earth may strike terror no more” Psalm 10: 17-18

Looking at the world today, we see a lot of things that break out hearts, like oppression, poverty, and injustice.  Sometimes we are often led to wonder where is God and why does He allow these things to happen. But the Psalmist reminds us that God does hear the cries of the meek, and He will strengthen their heart.  In other words, God will provide hope to the hopeless. And more than that, He will give them the justice they seek.
