“You show me the path of life. In your presence there is fullness of joy; in your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Ps 16:11

Often times we approach God with the hopes of getting things like a home, car, or job. There is nothing wrong in asking God for things, but it is not the greatest benefit that Lord has to offer us.

This psalm lets us know that there is beauty and joy beyond measure by not getting anything from God, but in being in His presence. Today, while you’re praying for things, be sure to prioritize seeking God’s presence. You will find that in His presence is everything you could ever need or desire.
