A lot of us spend more time thinking about the food that we are going to put into our mouths rather than the words that come out of them. A generation of kids has been told that words can’t hurt people like sticks and stones. The Bible tells us something different. While it’s important to be mindful of how we treat other people, it’s just as important to be intentional about the words that we speak over ourselves. Today, think twice about whether you are speaking power or poison over the life of yourself and other people.
