Elevation Worship is releasing a new Bible devotional to coincide with the release of their latest album, Hallelujah Here Below.

Those who are worshipping along with the latest music project from Elevation Worship now have an additional resource to help them connect with God.

“Over five days, we’ll journey through five songs from the album- and how God doesn’t ask for perfect praise–He wants praise that only we can give Him: broken and imperfect,” a description of the devotional states.

The devotional takes lyrics from the songs on Hallelujah Here Below and delves deeper into the meaning. On day one of the devotional, the song “Won’t Stop Now” is the focus.

“Why don’t we always feel God’s presence? If God’s presence is really an open door, why does the door sometimes feel like it’s been shut,” the plan states. “..There are a lot of reasons God could feel far away, but none of those reasons is because God has pulled away from us.”

The first day of the devotional also points to the scripture Matthew 7:7 which states, “ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

Aside from the powerful Bible plan, Elevation Worship has a powerful message to share on their latest record. Chris Brown, one of the singers in Elevation Worship, spoke about one of those messages centering around the type of praise that people bring to God.

“I think people get caught up in trying to be perfect and end up feeling like they’re not enough,” Brown said, according to The Christian Beat. “But this album is all about how God doesn’t ask for perfect praise –– He wants praise that only we can give Him: broken and imperfect.”
