Award winning Da’ T.R.U.T.H Christian rapper is now officially the new Youth Pastor of the Northview Christian Church Dothan Campus.

Da’ T.R.U.T.H, born Emanuel Lee Lambert, took to Twitter to reveal how excited he was about the new opportunity.

“So excited about my opportunity to serve with @hartramsey at NCC with the entire NCC family!! We’re believing God for Radical change and Robust faith amongst the young people,” he wrote. “Change in the church house begins at OUR house!!  Amazing weekend and it’s just the beginning!!!”

Pastor Hart Ramsey leads the multi-campus church and revealed how excited he was to welcome T.R.U.T.H during a time when teenagers are vulnerable to the pressures of society. According to the preacher, those teens need a role model.

“Teenagers are more endangered today than any other generation in history,” he said in a statement obtained by UGospel. “With access to modern society by the touch of an app, exposure to any and everything the world has to offer, role models with no sense of responsibility for what they’re promoting and a church that has all but lost touch.”

According to Ramsey, there was a vacancy in the youth pastor position. However, all of that changed when the rapper came to minister to the people in the church.

It was then that he felt led to bring him onto the NCC team.

“Our Montgomery campus, (Safe Harbor) has Adrian Mask– a brilliant, innovative young leader spearheading our Metamorphosis Youth Circle. But DOTHAN (the main NCC Campus) had no youth leader,” he said. “That’s until Emanuel Lambert (Da’ T.R.U.T.H) came to minister for us last year. It took one conversation for us to know that ‘God was up to something good.’ So, we took some time, committed the whole thing to prayer and decided to make it happen.”
