“If racing against mere men makes you tired, how will you race against horses? If you stumble and fall on open ground, what will you do in the thickets near the Jordan?” -Jer 12:5

Life can be overwhelming at times and it is hard to understand God’s plan. Like Jeremiah, we ask God why things like poverty, injustice, and pain persist in the world.  In those moments of confusion we cannot grow weary.

We must remember that God has deposited greatness in each of us, and through our greatness, we can solve the problems we see in the world.  But if we lose focus by becoming tired of racing with men we will never get to the extraordinary tasks like running with horses.
