“My child, do not despise the Lord’s discipline or be weary of his reproof, for the Lord reproves the one he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights” – Proverbs 3:11-12

As believers, the Lord will send people in our lives to serve as spiritual mentors to ensure that our walk exemplifies and honors the heart of Jesus Christ. We must not become defensive or discouraged by their correction and desire to hold us accountable. Rather, remember that God has sent them as an extension of his love and kindness towards us, His children.
