There’s a good reason singer Tauren Wells asks supporters to pray for him every time he releases new music.

“Every time I release a new single I come to you all for prayer and I’m coming to you again,” he wrote on Instagram. “I believe in the power of covering our efforts in prayer.”

At the end of the week, Wells is going to release his new single, “God’s Not Done With You.” He explained why the song is an important one for him.

“I feel like this song is being sent out with a mission. GOD’S NOT DONE WITH YOU. 5 words the world needs hear,” he wrote. “Would you pray that this song makes its way to the people who need it the most? That it and the teams around it find favor in getting it in the right places at the right times.”

Wells knows what it is like to feel like God is done believing in him and felt led to share his song with people because of those experiences.

“There have been many times in my life where for a myriad of reasons I’ve thought SURELY God is done believing in me,” he revealed. “Maybe you or someone you know have felt that same way. BUT the resounding voice of goodness and mercy declares GOD’S NOT DONE WITH YOU.”

The singer thanked people for listening to his music, sending music to their friends, families and co-workers. He also acknowledged the people that sang and danced to his music at school talent shows, competitions, and churches.

Most of all, Wells wanted to thank people for  “praying that God does what He wills with them.”

According to the singer creating his latest song has been an honor.

“It’s an amazing honor to get to be a part of the soundtrack of your life and relationships with each other and God,” he wrote.
