“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord my whole life long.” -Psalm 23: 6

In life, there are many unknowns. The future is not certain, and we never know what tomorrow holds. For some, that can be cause for anxiety and fear.  If that is you, then take comfort in the words of David in this Psalm. Like David, you may be faced with great trouble, but still can confidentially say that because the Lord is your shepherd, surely goodness and mercy will follow you and you will dwell in the Lord’s house.
