These Are 11 Key Shifts Needed For Leadership, Bestselling Author Pastor Says
There are 11 key changes that leaders need to embrace, according to bestselling author and pastor John C. Maxwell.
In his new book “Leadershift: 11 Essential Changes Every Leader Must Embrace,” Maxwell is passing on some tips that have helped him become a leader in business. As a leader it is important to adapt to change, Maxwell said in a statement obtained by Ambo TV.
“Change is so rapid today that leaders must do much more than stay the course to be successful,” said Maxwell. “If they aren’t nimble and ready to adapt, they won’t survive. The key is to learn how to leadershift.”
In “Leadershift,” Maxwell reveals 11 vital shifts that he has personally had to make in his career. Those changes were able to strengthen and sustain many his career.
Now, the accomplished leader wants to help others do the same thing.
“The reason for ‘Leadershift’ is to help people make fast changes and take advantage of all the things that leaders need to know and do, to build themselves and the organization in the way they truly want to grow,” Maxwell said.
According to his website, some of the leader shift changes outlined in Maxwell’s book include “the Adaptive Shift from Plan A to Option A, the Production Shift from Ladder Climbing to Ladder Building, and the Influence Shift from Positional Authority to Moral Authority.”
Aside from being a No. 1 bestselling author, coach, speaker, and leadership expert, Maxwell is a teaching pastor at Christ Fellowship which meets across several regions in South Florida.
He has sold over 30 million books in 50 languages and founded a nonprofit organization called EQUIP. Through this organization, over 5 million leaders have been trained in 126 countries around the world.
