Kierra Sheard is ushering in the new year with a brand new music video.

It’s been a while since Kierra Sheard has blessed her supporters with new music, but that doesn’t mean she can’t give us a new music video.

Her last solo album Graceland was released in 2014 and featured the fan favorite song “Repin’ My God” which she collaborated with rapper Canton Jones on. Over four years later, Kierra is celebrating the throwback with new visuals.

“I just want to say that I love my supporters so much! Y’all make this all so fun,” she wrote on Instagram. “Thank you for believing in me!”

While Kierra promised that new music is coming soon, she has been giving her supporters other forms of new content including her first blog of the year titled “Ways To Protect Your Peace.”

Backed with scripture found in Colossians 3:15, the gospel music singer and entrepreneur started off by explaining why peace is so important.

“In this space that we are entering, I’ve learned that peace is everything. So many things are pulling at our attention,” she wrote. “So many people are needing our time. Distractions are assigned to knock us out of purpose.”

Kierra revealed the lesson that she is walking into the new year with.

“Emotions are [often] causing us to make non-qualitative decisions,” she wrote. “The lesson for the new year is, ‘my decisions determine the quality of my life.’”

The singer has become intentional about maintaining peace in her relationships.

“In this season, my peace is your peace. No, this isn’t dragging out unnecessary conversations,” Kierra wrote. “But it’s saying what I mean, saying less, being an active listener, and doing what I must to keep my peace and the peace of others. Giving the apology so that the issue isn’t weighing on me when it’s time to sleep.”

In this new year, Kierra emphasized how important her peace is.

“My peace and space of tranquil is where God speaks and when strategy is revealed. My peace is everything,” she said. “Go! 2019.”
