Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?

Tell me, if you understand.” -Job 38:4

 

In life, we will experience things that we do not understand.  Confused, we ask questions like, “Why did I lose my job,” “Why is my loved one sick,” or “Why did my marriage fall apart ?”   Like Job, we bring these questions to God hoping to understand why these seemingly unfair events happen.  

While God may not answer the way we want, God will answer.  God will remind us that He has a plan for the world, and it has our best interest at heart.  Therefore, we can find peace in the fact that even though we don’t understand it all, God does and He will keep and protect us.
