“Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” -Romans 4:18

Faith and hope go hand-in-hand. As the word of God says, faith is the substance of things hoped for. Without hope you cannot have faith, and yet in those moments when life seems hopeless, it is our belief in the promises of God that allows us to find hope again.  It was Abraham’s faith that allowed him to keep his hope despite his hopeless situation. Today, if you are feeling hopeless, focus on strengthening your faith by remembering the promises of God.
